The common materials for dust collector filter bags can be divided into three categories by temperature resistance performance: normal temperature,
medium temperature and high temperature. There are 8 mainstream types of materials in total, to meet the demands of different industrial working
conditions.
Normal-temperature Materials (Operating temperature ≤ 130℃)
Polyester (Polyethylene Terephthalate Fiber): Continuous operating temperature of 120-130℃, instantaneous temperature resistance up to 150℃. It features
resistance to weak acids and weak alkalis, good abrasion resistance, and high cost-effectiveness, and is suitable for normal-temperature flue gas purification
in industries such as cement, iron and steel, and electric power.
Polypropylene Fiber: Its temperature resistance performance is similar to that of polyester, with excellent acid and alkali corrosion resistance, and it is suitable
for humid working conditions in industries such as chemical engineering and food processing.
Medium-temperature Materials (Operating temperature 130-200℃)
Acrylic Fiber: Continuous operating temperature of 120-140℃, instantaneous temperature resistance of 140-150℃. It has outstanding hydrolysis resistance, and is
suitable for working conditions such as asphalt mixing, dryers, and coal mills.
Aramid (Metamax/Nomex): Continuous operating temperature of 204℃, instantaneous temperature resistance of 240-250℃. It features strong alkali resistance,
and is suitable for medium-high temperature flue gas scenarios in industries such as iron and steel and cement.
High-temperature Materials (Operating temperature ≥ 200℃)
PPS (Polyphenylene Sulfide): Continuous operating temperature of 160-190℃, instantaneous temperature resistance of 190-220℃. It has extremely strong acid
and alkali corrosion resistance, and is suitable for high-acidity flue gas environments such as coal-fired boilers and waste incineration.
P84 (Polyimide): Continuous operating temperature of 240-260℃, instantaneous temperature resistance up to 260℃. The fiber has an irregular leaf shape, with
high filtration precision, and is suitable for complex working conditions such as cement production and waste incineration.
Glass Fiber: Continuous operating temperature of 240-260℃, instantaneous temperature resistance of 260-280℃. It is high-temperature resistant and corrosion
resistant, but has weak flex resistance, and is suitable for high-temperature flue gas industries such as iron and steel, metallurgy, and power generation.
PTFE (Polytetrafluoroethylene): Continuous operating temperature of 240-260℃, instantaneous temperature resistance of 260-280℃. It is resistant to almost all
chemical substances, with high dust cleaning efficiency, and is suitable for ultra-clean emission fields such as chemical engineering, pharmaceutical manufacturing
and semiconductors.
