The venturi tube for dust collector skeleton (also known as Venturi nozzle) is a core supporting component installed at the top of the pulse bag dust collector skeleton.
It optimizes the pulse-jet airflow through a special converging-diverging structure, significantly improves the ash cleaning efficiency, and protects the opening of the
filter bag from direct scouring by high-speed airflow. It is a key component to enhance the operational stability of the dust removal system.
Core Functions and Structural Features
Enhanced Dust Cleaning Effect: Leveraging the hydrodynamic effect of the Venturi tube, the pulsed jet compressed air is uniformly diffused into the entire filter bag,
driving the secondary airflow to form a uniform shock wave that thoroughly shakes off the dust accumulated on the surface of the filter bag. The dust cleaning
efficiency is over 30% higher than that of the filter cage without a Venturi tube.
Filter Bag Service Life Protection: It prevents the high-speed jet airflow from directly impacting the mouth of the filter bag, significantly reduces local wear at the filter
bag opening, can extend the service life of the filter bag by 15%-20%, and cuts down the operation and maintenance replacement costs.
Structural Design Requirements: It is integrally deep-drawn from Q235 cold-rolled steel sheet with no welding seams, smooth inner wall free of burrs, and low airflow
resistance. It is conventionally compatible with mainstream filter bag calibers such as 120mm, 130mm and 150mm, and the matching dimension can be customized
according to the specifications of the filter cage.
Key Points for Selection and Installation
Precise Size Matching: The diameter of the venturi tube must be strictly aligned with the inner diameter of the filter cage and the center of the nozzle on the blowpipe.
A deviation of over 2mm will drastically reduce the dust cleaning efficiency.
Working Condition Adaptation Selection: For high-temperature and highly corrosive working conditions, 304 stainless steel material is preferred. For ordinary normal-
temperature scenarios, galvanized carbon steel models are sufficient, which delivers the highest cost-effectiveness.
Welding Process Requirements: The connection between the venturi tube and the top of the filter cage must be fully and firmly welded, with no incomplete or
detached welds, to prevent falling off caused by long-term blow-induced vibration.
